Here’s to the man who gets up early in the morning. Who fulfills his duties.
Here’s to the woman who gets up early in the morning. Who fulfills her duties.
Here’s to those who work hard and hardly complain.
To those who’s pain is the communities gain.
Here’s to those who keep buggering on.
Who realise that by doing their duties they help the world move along.
Here’s to the ones who are fresh and sharp in the morning.
Holding a spade or a pen,
Gaining fullfillment to then.
Go back to their loved ones,
The ones they love most.
Get back into bed early,
And up before the post.
Oh how I wish I was one of them,
But my rhythms too rocky.
This is a homage,
To those who hold the key.
To happiness and fullfillment,
To good character and ethic.
Compared to these souls,
My efforts are pathetic.
